Customer management: Contact maintenance tab
Under the Contact maintenance tab of the Customer management window, you will find the customer profile configuration options related to contact management. You can use these options while creating new customer profiles or editing customer profiles. You will find below, in the next sections, the information related to these options.
Add contacts to customer profiles
If you want to choose between multiple addresses when e-mailing documents, while creating new customer profiles or editing customer profiles, follow the steps below to add contacts to customer profiles.
- Click on the + button on the right.
- Enter the name and the e-mail address of the contact in the Name and e-mail fields. If you wish to send documents to multiple addresses for this contact, enter them all separating them by a semicolon (;) without any space between them.
- Click on the diskette button to save.
When there are multiple contacts in a customer profile, you will then be given the option to choose between contacts before sending e-mails.
Delete contacts from customer profiles
While creating new customer profiles or editing customer profiles, follow the steps below to delete contacts from customer profiles.
- Select the contact on the list.
- Click on the - button on the right.
- Click on the diskette button to save.
Edit contacts in customer profiles
While creating new customer profiles or editing customer profiles, follow the steps below to edit contacts in customer profiles.
- Select the contact on the list.
- Modify the information contained in the Name and e-mail fields. If you wish to send documents to multiple addresses for this contact, enter them all separating them by a semicolon (;) without any space between them.
- Click on the diskette button to save.
When there are multiple contacts in a customer profile, you will then be given the option to choose between contacts before sending e-mails.
Print options window
When e-mailing documents, you can send them to contacts and emails that are not in the customer profiles from the Print options window. Using this option will automatically add the contact to the customer profiles.
