Activate sideloaded application installation

By default, some Windows 10 versions only allow you to install applications from the Microsoft Store. GEM-CAR 14, GEM-CAR 2022, and the GEM-CAR Installer are not available in the Microsoft Store. However, you can enable installing applications from trusted sources. To enable application sideloading on your system, follow the steps below.

1. From the Windows Start menu, open Settings and select Update & security.
2. On the For developers tab, under Use developer features, select the Sideload apps option.
3. Select Yes to confirm the risks involved in running applications outside the Microsoft Store and restart your computer.
