Windows 10 and 11 Date and Time

GEM-CAR 14 and 2022 depend on the date and time set up in the Windows 10 or 11 settings. Consequently, if they display wrong dates and times on a computer, verify that these settings are configured correctly.

To go to the Windows 10 and 11 Date & Time settings window, follow the instructions below.

Windows 10

  1. From the Start menu, open Settings and go to Time & Language.
  2. On the Date & Time tab, configure the settings.

  1. Right-click the Start button and open Settings.
  2. On the Time & Language tab, select Date & time.

Automatic date and time

The easiest way to manage the date and time in Windows 10 and 11 is to set up automatic date and time. This way, they searche for the time zone in which the computer is located and sets up the date and time accordingly. They also automatically change the time according to seasons. Follow the steps below to set up automatic date and time. The procedure for Windows 10 and 11 is the same, but the interface is organized differently.

  1. Turn the Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically toggles on.
  2. Under Synchronize your clock, select the Sync now button.

Manual date and time

If a computer doesn't have access to the Internet or is not allowed to use localization, setting automatic date and time may not be possible. In this case, follow the steps below to set up the date and time manually. The procedure for Windows 10 and 11 is the same, but the interface is organized differently.

  1. Turn the Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically toggles off.
  2. Select the time zone using the drop-down menu.
  3. If you want seasonal time to change automatically, turn the Adjust for daylight saving time automatically toggle on.
  4. Under Set the date and time manually, select the Change button.
  5. Use the drop-down menus to change the date and time and select the Change button.
