Computer specifications

Processor, RAM, system type and Windows 10 or 11 version

Follow the steps below to verify your computer specifications for the processor (CPU), Random access memory (RAM), system type (64-bit or 32-bit) and Windows 10 or 11 version. The procedure is the same for windows 10 and 11.

Windows 10

  1. Right-click the windows Start button and select System.
  2. For Windows 10 users, Windows will open the Settings on the About tab. For Windows 11 users, Windows will open the Settings on the System tab and preselect the About section. You can then check for the computer specifications.

Processor cores

Follow the steps below to verify the number of cores of a processor (CPU). The procedure is exactly the same for windows 10 and 11.

  1. Right click the Windows Start button and select Task Manager.
  2. From the Task Manager window, go to More details.
  3. On the Performance tab, go to CPU and check for the base speed and the number of cores of the processor.

Storage capacity

Follow the steps below to verify the storage capacity of your computer's drive.

Windows 10

  1. Go to the Start button and select Settings.
  2. In the Windows Settings, go to the Storage tab and check for the drive's storage capacity.

Windows 11

  1. Right-click the Start button and select Settings.
  2. In the Windows 11 Settings, on the System tab, scroll down and select Storage.
  3. Check for the drive's storage capacity.
