How to print inventory barcodes labels

To print barcode labels, follow the instructions below.

  1. Install and configure the drivers of your label printer.
  2. In the Local configuration window, select your label printer for Box labels. See Local configuration: Printers tab: Default printers for reports for more information.
  3. In the Product/Job code management window, print the label list. See Inventory management: Print a list of inventory barcode labels for more information.

Label format

You must use a printer compatible with the 1.25-1.5 x 3.5 inches label rolls format.

Pro tip

  • To replace a damaged or hard-to-read VIN label, you can create a product code using the vehicle’s serial number and print a label in barcode format.
  • If you can't use a label printer, print the labels using AVERY paper.
