Work order types
You will find below descriptions and examples of the main work order types. For information on how to configure, display, print, and save work orders, see Work orders.
Car work order
This is the default work order type. You can use it for any type of vehicle, but it's primarily designed for cars. It includes:
- the technical information about the vehicle;
- up to 4 jobs per page with job codes, descriptions, barcodes, and zones to manually enter the date and time;
- a mechanical visual inspection section; and
- an authorization.
You can find the car work order report file in vdata/Report/PVU/work_order.rpt.
Truck work order
This work order type is specialized for jobs on trucks. It includes:
- the technical information about the truck;
- up to 3 jobs per page with job codes, descriptions, barcodes, and zones to manually enter the date and time; and
- an authorization.

Inspection work order
This work order type is specialized for inspections. It includes:
- the technical information about the vehicle;
- 1 job per page with the job code, description, barcode, and a zone to manually enter the date and time;
- a mechanical visual inspection section; and
- an authorization.
You can find the inspection work order report file in vdata/Report/PVU/work_order_inspection.rpt.
Tire work order
This work order type is specialized for tire jobs. It includes:
- the technical information about the vehicle;
- 1 job per page with the job code, description, barcode, and a zone to manually enter the date and time;
- a mechanical visual inspection section;
- the detailed information on the wheel and tire types;
- the detailed information on the tire-specific jobs; and
- an authorization.
