Store Link: Settings: Advisors
Some supplier online store integrations support multiple users. To configure usernames and passwords for different advisors, you first need to create their profiles. To do so, in the GEM-CAR 2022 Main menu, go to Store Link > Settings > Advisors.
Add advisors to Store Link
To add advisors to Store Link, follow the instructions below.
- On the Advisors tab of the Store Link Settings, select the + button.
- Configure the advisor.
- Select the Apply button to save.
Edit advisors in Store Link
To edit advisors in Store Link, follow the instructions below.
- On the Advisors tab of the Store Link Settings, select the Pen button on an advisor's badge.
- Configure the advisor.
- Select the Apply button to save.
Delete advisors from Store Link
To delete advisors from Store Link, follow the instructions below.
- On the Advisors tab of the Store Link Settings, select the Pen button on an advisor's badge.
- Select the Trash button.
- Confirm the deletion.
You can't delete advisors if they are used by other objects in the database. However, you can always disable them. For more information, see Active management.
Configure advisors for Store Link
To configure advisors for Store Links, follow the guidelines in the subsections below.
Advisors' information
When editing advisors, to configure them, follow the guidelines below.
- Number: Enter an advisor number in this field. This field is mandatory.
- First name: Enter the advisor's first name in this field.
- Last name: Enter the advisor's last name in this field. This field is mandatory.
Activity
When editing advisors, to disable or enable them, turn the Active switch on or off.
Turning the switch off doesn't delete the advisors. It disables advisors that are currently used in the database and therefore can't be deleted. For more information, see Active management.
